My trainer has moved our Saturday workouts to 8:30 a.m. If you're going to do this, you should at least provide some added entertainment, and fortunately, she did:

That's Kai, their newest Rottie. He's already grown a ton since he first came in two Saturdays ago, and he's definitely in oral stage right now. I played with him on and off through the circuits, as he alternated chewing on his own toys, workout equipment, a random piece of underwear found in somebody's bag (not mine), and when all else failed, human body parts. Toward the end, I got down on the floor for crunches and he immediately ran over and licked my face. Then, once I started the movement, he decided my left earlobe was a chew toy and tried nibbling on it as it went past. Presumably he's on to something bigger by now. Ebony was Quite Interested in how I smelled when I got home; I can only imagine how she'll drool over him once he's grown up.
Our puppy's doing much better, as well. She had her recheck at the start of the week; her temp was normal, the leg swelling almost gone, and she's back to eating (and mooching) normally. We've been walking her more than usual, and I will do so again later.
Hopefully she'll stay away from my earlobes until after I shower;)
