Hide the wheat and wheat by-products!
Jan. 23rd, 2015 07:54 pmI got an email today from Babeville, Ani DiFranco's restored downtown performance venue (in a rescued deconsecreated Methodist church, of all things):
Cecil and friends are coming in May:)

(I presume that is he. Although it could be the Man in the Tan Jacket, since it's radio. Or Carlos. But I'm guessing Cecil. He looks Cecilish.)
The Weather guest will be Mary Epworth. I don't know her stuff, other than from her prior appearance on the podcast, but she sounds interesting.
Tickets are general admission, and the venue is relatively small, so get them if you're in a getting mood.
----
Meanwhile, I'm still trying to wrangle Daily Show tickets for Em, Cameron and me for the afternoon of the Billy Joel show in February. Tickets have been fairly easy to find for up to the week before, so I'm hoping a block will open next week that includes the 18th.
I've managed to keep that week court-free so far, helped, perhaps, because it's a traditional WNY school break week and a lot of people schedule it off. Already I have appointments or appearances every weekday next week, and the first two weeks of February are filling up fast, as well. Fortunately, we haven't had interruptions in our water supply, or sudden attacks by antiques.
