Jul. 4th, 2010 09:07 amThe story so far:
Day 01 - A show that should have never been canceled
Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching.
Day 03 - Your favorite new show (aired this TV season)
As the soccer people say, nil. I don't have very good luck with this sort of thing, as evidenced by the four most recent new shows I took an interest in right from the beginning:
Pushing Daisies (2007)
Traveler (2007)
Lost (2004)
Dead Like Me (2003)
All attracted highly involved and enthusiastic fanbases. All had good casting and good writing. Only one of the four lasted more than two seasons, and that one was such a black hole of brain cells, I couldn't watch it for extended sections of its run.
It's not surprising that this past season offered little to suck me in to another heartbreaking experience. Between NBC's failed attempt at Lenoizing the 10:00 block, and all the networks getting stupid in their choices of reality shows and other drek, I don't even recall one post from somebody saying, "Dude, you gotta see this!"
So I didn't.
