Why was I not informed?
Jul. 26th, 2009 03:45 pm* That The Time Travelers Wife got adapted into a movie? With Rachel McYummy and the Hulk? Opening in, like, two weeks?
We want a rousing success here, so everyone in Hollywood will go digging around their development drawers and find Time and Again, which Robert Redford has held the rights to since the Nixon Administration.

* That we don't have BBCA anymore?
We did, back in the day. I'd check to see if they were showing old Pythons or Campions or anything funny/mysterious, but all I ever saw on there were these Veddy British versions of Antiques Roadshow. So now that all'yall have rammed this Children of Earth thing down my throat and I find it's actually ON, marathon-stylee, this afternoon, I flip to 109 and get me a pink screen of death with "NOT AUTHORIZED" on it.
C'mon. It's the Beeb. Shouldn't it at least say "NOT AUTHORISED," or maybe even "NO SHOW! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!"
----
* Where my other stupid ratty sneaker is?
It's turning out to be perhaps the first day all month when it might be rain-free, and I still have twenty of our back forty to mow, but my back-yard sneakers have gone missing. Rather, my right back-yard sneaker. Tasha has always had a bizarre greeting behavior where she'll grab a random piece of footwear and bring it to the new arrival. Even if it isn't theirs. (Even if it was theirs, she never goes and retrieves the matching one.) So we just wind up with assorted sneaks, clogs and ballet flats all about the house. Wherever they may be.

Anyone local who wants to come-with for TTW, get me a copy of COE, or help me find a rather large, grass-stained trainer? Come right by. Just leave your shoes outside.
