NIAGARA FALLS—A woman fled from McLeod’s Pharmacy on Buffalo Avenue on Friday afternoon without paying a $600 co-pay for prescription medications, police said.

Police said the woman, who was directed to the front cashier after picking up the prescriptions, denied owing a co-pay and wrote a check for $8.59 to cover a cigarette purchase.

Police are investigating.

Investigating WHAT? Why the chickie was stupid enough to steal after leaving her name in two different places in the store? Or WTF she's doing spending any money on death sticks if she's so sick she needs meds with a $600 co-pay?
