Of the Tesh-nu-kill-logical kind: I just dropped 20-odd dollars on a gizmo that will allow me to connect a 10-year-old laptop, running a bitchin' fast Win '98 and with a broken power cord, to our router. Not wirelessly, mind you, but through a lonnng USB cable.
I have no idea what inspired me to do this, other than fear that this desktop's just gonna explode one of these days.

Of the Vaudeville-get-the-asshole-off-the-stage kind: Our weathermen all promised that today would be cooler and much less humid. That hardly explains why every time I step out of air-conditioned space, my glasses fog up. The air's back on. Die in a fire, Pope Don Paul:P
