Surprisingly On-Time Birthdayage #2

Okay, well, yeah. She's got a goofy username. She'll tell you that herself. But the senses of divadom or of foofiness conveyed by it? So not her.

One of the few people here to have shared my living experiences in both Ithaca and Buffalo, she now lives as far away from both of them as you can get without needing a passport, a lei or a pair of mukluks. Making her way in one of the toughest places in the country, with no family to fall back on, she has her triumphs and also her lesser moments, but she never fails to document it all here, in words and pictures that tell quite the tale about the young woman she's become.

If you ever get back here, I need to greet you properly over a couple of Gennys and a plate of Super Mightys (unless they do ever get to LA as they've been threatening to do for years). Until then, though, I'll just add my wishes and hugs for a happy XXV to princessmerbear. And who knows? If the Ducks make the finals, you might have a better chance of seeing a Sabres game than we do:)

Thank you very much! After trying to stretch out my birthday into an entire long weekend, I'm just now catching up on the friends page.

It's odd to be cheering on the Ducks right now only so the Sabres can hopefully crush them in the finals. ;-)
