Broken....
Feb. 11th, 2021 03:10 pm...the streak of posting, that is. After a fairly involved work afternoon followed by a 4:30 workout, I came home, we ate during the poetry Zoom meeting, and I just then fell down go boom from exhaustion. Some may have been pre-emptive, knowing I had a long day on the road today, but there you are. February 10th is a day that shall live in nothingness far as this journal is concerned.
Not that I lacked for things to write about.
The "fairly involved work afternoon" included my first setting-of-foot in a hospital since all this shit got real. It was to get a client to sign documents, took about 20 minutes and was virtually hands-free, but it was just kinda spooky seeing all the precautions around by and for so many essential workers.
Before that, though, we had a little household incident:
We had been getting Temptations cat treats in foil packets. I picked one of the Big Ass™ size containers in a pet store on sale a few weeks ago. I was out walking the dog yesterday morning, and Eleanor was doing her morning chanting, so we both missed that the Wrecking Crew had gotten the box off the counter and Hoovered it. In hindsight, Pepper was not whining for walkies as much as usual this morning, so she may have been in on the larceny before we left.
Here’s Bronzini inspecting the crime scene:

We're back to foil packets for now.

Client is due. More later, maybe, so I can at least keep the posting average up.
