After numerous tries at texting it to me, Emily finally got me a copy of her Halloween costume today:
I stopped by her apartment earlier in the day to bring some requests from home, and once again found a treasure trove of identity theft material in her complex's parking lot (some kid's just-opened deposit and withdrawal slips for his savings account). Far more photogenic, though, were these rocky thingies, which some of her neighbours had used to line the path to their front door the other night:

Then there are the recent Aaack. Qwee. Zits-shuns from our I've Got Mail! box.
Over the weekend, right before starting on the floor, Eleanor asked for permission to toss a sentimental old thing of ours: the pink salt-shaker half of a piggy pair we got at Rochester's Good Company Store back when there was such a thing, which had lost both of its ears over the years and, more recently, had scored a crucifixion-like piercing into its flank. Go ahead, I said, but just for giggles, I checked eBay, as I have periodically over the years without luck. Until now:
Sitting pig on your left is slightly off-colour from the one we had, but it's the right size and face, so I dropped all of 15 bucks to bring piggies alllll the way home. On Monday. Two days later, they arrived safe and sound (well, as sound as two such psychotic pigs can be) from California. Plain priority mail. Awesomeness.

targaff, who offered to send something Quite Interesting to us over the weekend, from Washington State, and which also arrived in seemingly record time today. ::hugs and extra points::

The day, though long, was mostly dull as dishwater, so I'll spare you that. Go back to the pictures, already. She has a fez, and it's cool:)
