My first ever live-blogging of a car accident!

First things first. I'm fine. The car, mostly so. But Jesus on a pogo stick this has got to stop.

At right about 2:45, I left my bank and headed across the street to get to another store. Maybe three spaces into the parking lot, I slowed because I saw someone pulling out of a space on my right. Next I knew, there was That Horrid Sound coming from my back left: some moron in a pickup truck had backed smack into me.

I pulled into the first space I could find, got out to hear his story,... and watched him speeding away toward Sheridan, never to be seen again. I waved at him (hell, I don't even know it WAS a him), and I think I got a plate reading: out-of-state, green on white so NH, maybe? Three numbers, then four. I called 911, and within a couple I'd given the 20 and the description. By then, I'd moved closer to the way he went, and I finished the call where I now remain at about 3:20- wait for it, outside the Tim Horton's donut shop.

Half an hour later and still, not a single cop. FML.

Hopefully, this means they're catching the SOB. They said to wait here until an officer arrived.

Who just did. Plate didn't match anything. Insert assorted cusses here.

Hey, I'm a friend of plantmom. I've been meaning to check out your blog and friend you for a while. I was just reading back through your blog and I saw this post. I just wanted to pop in and say that if it helps, if the plate was green on white it was probably an old MA plate. The new ones come in a variety of colors but are mostly red, white, and blue, but the old ones that the hardcore massholes hold onto are green on white.

We got rear-ended a while ago and the car is STILL in the shop. Good luck.

I had a MA roommate back in bright college days, and those were 3-and-3 numbers. This one was definitely 3-and-4, although which numbers, exactly, I must've gotten wrong.

I've seen plenty of your comments with the beloved, and she often speaks of you. Welcome:)
