The search continues for Emily's car. It just took a short but amusing detour.

A too-good-to-be-true listing showed up on CL. Slightly higher price, but much lower mileage, very clean, yet no plates or inspection sticker in the picture and, surprise surprise, no phone number. I was almost certain this was poison from the get-go, but my Polyanna side got me to send an email inquiry (from my Buffalo Freenet account which you can't send spam to because it already is ON every Viagra salesman's list).

Just now, this came back:
