Just got back from the older kitties' physical. As you can see, this is the highlight of their year:



The top of that carrier pops off, so their attempt didn't work. Both are fine; Michelle (in the front) lost a pound since last year; at least half of that is from Zoey eating her om noms and chasing her about. Taz is the exact same weight he was last time, and a heart murmur he had then, he no can has now.

I awoke to weird dreams again. For some reason, they've been especially intense this week.

Everybody's home today, so I'll at least have some extra human companionship whilst mining salt here.

Kitties are always full of adorable goodness. Once I took my cat to the vet and she got so angry that she puffed up all over. We used a blanket to hold her in place (like a burrito), but she jumped down and so we saw this very angry blanket burrito dashing about the office.

Point was, my cat was pissed. Yet also still adorable.

Once upon a time, I set out from Cape Cod to Fort Worth with the Penultimate Wife, a cat, a dog, and all our worldly possessions in a red Chevy Chevette topped with a luggage carrier labeled NCC-1701/7 . The bloody cat yowled for the entire trip. The baleful look of your little moggies reminds me of the look our cat gave us. "You're dead, you know. One day you'll let me out of this box, and then you're a dead man."

The dog, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed the ride.
