I haven't laughed this hard in a while, after a Friend tipped me off to this here blog. The particular reference was to a post she did about a fish almost destroying her childhood, but this one, titled simply Allie Gets Drunk, had me absolutely roaring.

And that is the story of how I got stranded in a boat, slept behind a meth-lab and played a part in burning down an island all in one night.

It's all that. Better than all that, in fact. I told Eleanor it sounded much like the voice of our dear authory friend Joss- or what her voice would've sounded like in a blog if they'd had blogs when Joss was in her early 20s.
