In between my many stops yesterday, I got to pass through the closing moments of a teabagger (lower case, no connection with this cafe) protest in downtown Rochester. All of them Mad As Hell about Obama's hands on their scrota liberties, despite the fact that Tax Freedom Day came earlier for average Americans this year than it ever did under Shrub.

A contingent of RPD mounted officers were keeping an eye on the demonstrations, while the contingent of RPD mounted horses were busy doing what RPD mounted horses usually do: standing around and pooping on the pavement.  Somehow spending those moments surrounded by tax protesters and horseshit seemed, well, redundant.

I'm starting to think that maybe sixty percent of the protest teabaggers have probably been convinced that in political terms, if Fox, Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, or Palin tell them that 2+2=fish*, then if Barack HUSSEIN Obama says that 2+2=4, then by gum he's wrong!

*We're talking about logic breakdowns that transcend 2+2=5 here, I think...
