Things that make you say "I've got a bad feeling about this" when traveling Han solo:

(a) Entering the hotel through the ballroom entrance and seeing that the biggest party of the day is a bridal shower;

(b) Going back to your car to get the rest of your stuff and seeing a North Haven PD cruiser in the parking lot;

(c) Counting, into double figures, the number of Brentwood (Lawn Guyland) High School football windbreakers on the very large backs of numerous other guests who keep opening doors in the same hall as you are.

And the worst of these is?:: (c). Apparently the Big East scouting combine is being conducted at this hotel this weekend and they were conducting the 40-yard dash drills in MY GODFORSAKEN HALLWAY at 11:00 last night.

This was not the night's sleep I was looking for (that was not the night's sleep you were looking for).

The really REALLY weird dream about, basically, being fired from my church didn't help, either. Sheesh, I'm away for one Sunday, God. Deal. Go suck on a palm or something if it'd make You feel better.

Usually I'd be trying desperately to get Hosanna, Heysanna, Sanna Sanna Ho out of my head, but after the past 10 hours, I welcome it.

A friend of mine experienced a similar level-of-noise and went down to the front desk in her PJs to complain. She got a free night and a breakfast. Try it.

I bet if I called and threatened to come down and complain they'd probably sign over the whole building to me.
