My only ass'o'clock morning of the week is tomorrow, so I bid yueus adieus.

Not before failing mizzably at, first, viewing, and, later, embedding, this newest trailer for the upcoming Ridley Scott version of Robin Hood.

Nonetheless. None of that frustration detracts even a milligram ("we're Canadian, so it's okay" to measure that way;) from the fact that Scott cast GBS frontman Alan Doyle in the movie.

As Allan A'Dayle.

Right there's eight bucks of opening-week box office you never woulda had.

(Alan's at 0:54 of the trailer, or so I'm told, anyway ::growls at embedding codes::)

Sorry; one forgets not everyone is familiar with the music scene over in West Buffalo:

The IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0236269/bio) re Great Big Sea (http://www.greatbigsea.com/).

Nonono. I quite like the band (well, ONE of us does:P), and he's quite a nice guy (although I don't fan on him like lots here do). It was the technical difficulties getting that trailer to load I was bitching aboot.

Ah ok, I was interpreting that as you didn't want to go see the movie now because you hated the dude. You ever been told that you write in runaround sentences instead of run-ons? ;)

I KNOW. I would probably have seen this in the theater anyways, as I enjoy Robin Hood movies, but the presence of Alan pushes me right the heck over the edge into OMG MUST SEE. *fangrrly sigh of joy*

I had no idea Robin Hood had pushed through the Great Charter!

Or invented Higgins boats a thousand years early. (I blame that one on Jackson's LOTR, where the Orcs had hundreds of the drop-nosed craft.)

He was kinda the Chuck Norris of his day.

"Robin Hood shot an arrow into William Tell's DNA and split it into 92 chromosomes."

"Robin Hood can wear tight tights and they don't even look tight. Unless he wants to."

"Robin Hood was once in an archery tournament, and the arrow lost."

I'm sure there will be more.

FINALLY a Robin Hood with the right accent (not counting the One in Tights)!! Seriously, can't wait to see this. Russell may be a cad, but the man can act.
