I went to post a comment on a Friend's entry a few moments ago, and the comment-page didn't load. Instead, right below the Firefox page-name box, it displayed the text being sent back by the LJ server. It wouldn't let me copy it as text or image, or even do a print-screen; any keyboarding made it go away.

So I did the next best thing: I shot it.

If my fuzzy iPhone aim prevents reading, the pertinent part of the code is Thanks for signing in Live Journal loves you a lot here have a cookie.

Now all I need figure out is whether (a) I've been hacked, (b) Mel's been hacked, (c) Frank the Goat's been hacked, or (d) this is just standard LJese that got mucked about for a moment.

Nice evening with the kids. We watched Secondhand Lions, ate yummy shrimp, and watched the menagerie acting like their usual silly selves.

I did finish the book I was working on after that, which brought me to near tears several times. Tomorrow I shall tell you why.

Logging out now. Do I need to give the cookie back?

I've seen the "here have a cookie" text before; I think it's standard LJ-trying-to-be-funny stuff in their code. Why you're seeing it, though, I don't know.

You only have to give the cookie back if you are breaking up with Frank the Goat. If not, you make keep the cookie and enjoy.

Glad you had a fun evening!
