Emily got accepted
to two of her colleges today.
Columbus College of Art and Design, cleverly located in Columbus, The Ohio State (I think that's how it spelled); and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Much to follow. Decisions, logistics, and several zeros on the end of a figure that may exceed everything we've spent on education (all of ours) to date.
For now, though: WIN.

Date: 2010-03-02 03:13 pm (UTC)Despite my bad memories of all things PSU, as a graduate, I'm contractually obliged to discourage her from going to Ohio State. :)
Also, re: those zeros, keep your eyes open for private scholarships. They're not often very much (usually just a couple thousand dollars or so) but they can be really helpful in offsetting the cost of books and things. They have scholarships for everything! I know we've written a couple of letters of rec for people applying for the Italian-American scholarship with some sort of blahdy blah ties to some guy in N Buffalo.
