Names that work, and one that doesn't.
Feb. 21st, 2010 01:42 pmI've known her since before there even was such a thing as LJ. In recent years, she's split her writings between the fannish and the familyish, and while I don't always understand the former, I always appreciate the thoughts she adds to both conversations.
Call her
fangirlsays, call her
mon_de_plume (which might be one of the best usernames eva), just call her. And wish her a happy birthday ::hugs::

Not in the running anytime soon for "best name eva" is a guy I read about on a Reuters site today, about a South African man who mistakenly thought he'd won a $12 million (US) Powerball jackpot but didn't:
National Lottery spokeswoman Thembi Tulwana said the real winner of Friday's PowerBall draw was an unnamed 43-year-old woman, and not 52-year-old Stanley Philander, a Cape Town hardware store cleaner reported to have carried off the record rollover prize.
Cheer up, Stan. For just 8 bucks on godaddy, you can register the name philander.me- and then offer to sell it to Tiger Woods.
