Not yet, anyway.
All those other senseless murderers share one thing in common: Beautiful Downtown (or at least suburban) Buffalo.
So when I got home from a thoroughly rotten day (other than seeing off a dear friend of ours who's moving to Milwaukee tomorrow if I can get through their closing without any problems), and I saw the BREAKING NEWS about a man with a shotgun being captured on security cameras going into UB's main library (Lockwood, for those who know the turf), my reaction was much like the bowl of petunias in HHGTG:
Oh no, not again.
Fortunately, at least as of this writing, the building got evacuated and dude hasn't wreaked any havoc. He is, however, still at large. One can only hope it was a Classics Department costume party or something.
Now to check the comments for the inevitable If our fascist government allowed students and professors to pack heat, shit like this would never happen reaction.
