About the only appearance of the gremlins today was in my new icon compliments of angledge.

Got the mass mailing out, five hours early and exactly 67 cents over budget.

Found Eleanor's truck keys- buried at the bottom of the basket we keep clean dish towels in. It was just a matter of dirtying a sufficient number of towels to work our way down to them.

One of Emily's teachers was so taken by Eleanor's mac-and-cheese recipe from the other night- just for its smell- that she asked for a copy of it.

Watched Yet Another Hitchcock Movie tonight- To Catch a Thief, this time. Gorgeous, and great special-feature stories.

Eleanor re-rigged the washer so it will work despite the safety switch not staying in place. I cleaned up the detritus from under the machine, one part of which was a leftover dead bee from (I think) two winters ago. Or maybe it was half a bee....

which philosophically, must ipso facto half not bee:)
