The year is winding down with significant news developments all over. Health care reform is going to the wire over the next two weeks. Our state is nearly bankrupt and the pain is going to be felt locally no matter how they solve that problem. Major decisions loom in economic and climate arenas.  Oh, and if you need distraction from all of that, there's all kinds of entertainment, plus there are only 8 shopping days until Christmas.
