I was just wondering if it was supposed to have aired tonight. Seems odd to have made such a BFD out of the date and have it so close to when they aired it.

it may well have been-- the Beeb are notorious for screwing around with airdates. DW traditionally airs on Saturday (except when it doesn't, like in the 80s for awhile) though they opted for a sunday here instead. At a guess, RTD/Phil Ford took a guess at an airdate and missed a bit.
