Youse get what you spay for....
Nov. 16th, 2009 12:35 pmVet called a few minutes ago: Zoey is fine. Eleanor picks her up at 11 tomorrow. A little lighter, perhaps, but she should be back to her usual insane self in no time.
Funny, the things we both remember. Eleanor was really worried, since the last time we brought a cat in for anything other than a routine appointment, it was Biggsy's surgery appointment which wound up called off on account of his suddenly-spread cancer. Later that day, he was in the Wisteria Room and we were putting him down.
This time, I wasn't worried so much for now, but was rather remembering how, until Esmeralda (our first kitty) was fixed 20 years ago, she never had a problem going to the vet; after that, though, she was always a clawing, scraping wildwoman there, almost always requiring the services of "Big Glove Kim" even for routine vaccinations.
Right. Mail, finishing up some stuff from the weekend, and maybe even the inside of a gym.
