So we bailed out of Peter's Friends after about an hour, as even the all-star Veddy British cast just didn't work for us, with the characters' pretentiousness and playing to type and unfortunate references to dead babies and whatnot. I found it a bit too similar to The Big Chill from almost a decade before, only with better scenery.
Still. The opening scene of the film, set a decade before the events of the story proper, is all kinds of awesome. Especially if you need a handy reference to most of the stations making up the London Underground. My own regular stop didn't make the cut, but "Maida Vale" did, so Rah Rah W9!
Somehow the Spanish subtitles in this clip of it (on You, um, Tube, appropriately enough) make it even more surreal:
