Maybe it's just us from my old home town, though. We had a glazier next to the Meadow Dairy who had a huge sign running the entire side of his building, in 12-foot-tall block letters advertising it as ED'S GLASS WORKS, and almost every Halloween night, some galoots (as my mother would call them) came by and whitewashed out the G and the L.
