I'm rather disappointed in my Eurogeek friends who all missed this five hours ago.

On second thought, I do have something to report:

Meet the first boy in three generations of my immediate family since, well, me (the grrls having gone off on a five-baby winning streak over the past 40 years):



Meet Kyle William. Or, as I first reacted when I saw him, OMG that's Nicole's father back on the earth!

Nine pounds 12 ounces, arriving yesterday. Not nearly as statistical as 9 pounds 9 on 09/09/09, but I don't know if my niece coulda survived another day.

I don't think he looks like a newborn. He doesn't have that ugly, skin-too-large look. He looks like he's about four months old. Amazing.

What a nice, healthy looking boy! He looks almost as big as Adam when he was born. Adam had to wear 3 mo. size clothing when he was born. And after all the cute newborn stuff I bought, too. But then, he was an 11 lb, 4.75 oz baby. OK...maybe not baby. More like little man. Congrats to the family, Raymond C!!
