When you switch to your tab for it, though, it always greets you in some bizarre language.

The greeting just now was TASHI DELEK.

I'm not sure this is the best of choices if they want to keep the game going very long.

And there is definitely something in the water here.

One night after a fairly famous NHL player got busted over a 20 cent tip to a cabbie (who has since turned out to have a bit of history of his own), Amherst Town Supervisor Satish Mohan got arrested for a hit-and-run accident at the corner of Main and Transit.

As soon as I read that the crime scene was at that intersection, I knew exactly what happened. It's one of the biggest-ass multi-lane jobs in the entire region; the Transit portion of it has been under construction since the Paleozoic era, and the usual two left turns from northbound Transit onto Main are down to a single lane. Not that it stops people from trying to turn left from the second lane. Certainly not Satish, who drives a bruiser of a 1999 Buick, the size of which is only exceeded by his massive ego. My wife knew Satish from long before his political days, and knew him to be a piece of work way back then.

It may be more suited to hockey players than politicians, but let's all sing anyway: Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye!
