I duly reported my status on That Other Thing earlier today as

Tasha- not only President of the Shedding Hair Club for Dogs, but also a client!

tinnabelle and I promptly got into a hair-pulling fight over the shedding properties of our respective mooses. Tasha's undercoat leavings, I asserted, could be made very neatly into tribbles.

That's from one brushing session. Most of it comes out of single little poofie plugs in her flank and hindquarters. 

Once nest-building season is over for the birds, I'll beam the rest of it over to the Klingons. At least the ones from her butt.

Izzy doesn't shed, so we have to use the furminator and do her once a month at a minimum, twice a month would be best. It's amazing how much fur can come off a little 14 lb dog!
