At 3-something this morning, the moon was so full, the sky so clear, and the lunar position in the sky so precise, it was practically serving as a high-intensity lamp over my shoulder as I tried, unsuccessfully for the longest time, to drift back to sleep.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to shave.
