I got in on the edge of a discussion about the latest As Seen On TV™ craze a few weeks back, when a Friend posted about the Joy of Snuggie. My take:

I'm waiting for them to make a snuggie out of shamwow.

Then I'll sit in a comfy chair and spill liquids all over me until I die.

(Mind you, I'd never actually seen a commercial for either of these products, but they've become so infested into pop-culture, even I knew they existed.)

I filed these thoughts away until earlier, when another Friend posted this riff on the Snuggie commercial, with which I wholeheartedly concur:

I own a blanket like that! It's totally different, but the same concept. It came from either Sears or JC Penney about 15 years ago. It's blue and green plaid fleece with snaps so that I can wear my blanket like a robe when I'm sitting on the sofa.
