Not that this stops me from commenting, mind.

Apparently Keanu Reeves's next insertion  role is to be as Spike Spiegel in an adaptation of a beloved anime known as Cowboy Bebop.

As with most of his recent career, it will be difficult for him to live down his over-and-walk-across-the-top portrayal of a certain One role that he once did.

Oops, that he thrice did.

It even spills over into his back catalog. As I commented to a Friend a bit ago on his slight trouble with typecasting:

^* Much Ado was 1993, six years before he ever put on the rubber suit. It ruins him in it anyway;)

The film I can stand Reeves in is "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure." He actually had movement and personality in that one. Of course having George Carlin in it helped.

I just hope he can feign some personality. And Much Ado About Nothing is my favorite Shakespeare play! :) I thought even HE did an okay job in that movie. ^___^
