A client needs a lien filed in the northerner reaches of this state. Through the miracle of GPS technology, I can send them an aerial shot of the lot I think is the correct one to be liened.

That's not the point of this post, though. This is:



Go on. You see it, too. Almost half a century on this planet, all but a few scattered weeks of which has been spent in or near two of the four corners of this state, and I have never heard of this town.

All's I can say is: if God thought it was funny to inspire a town name THAT far into the middle of nowhere, and pounded by THAT much snow on an annual basis, He's a sicker dude than I thought.

I've always felt kinda sorry for anyone with the first or last name Gay. I'd hate to think my name has become a community, a cause, an insult, and last but not least a town.
