Aminals let me sleep in until almost 6, but I've been oop and aboot ever since. Workout at 8, then assorted chores round here from 9-ish through the afternoon (defoliating the bathroom, running wash, killing a bunch of tree stumps outside, cleaning up kitchen and floors, getting my office billing under control, coordinating a handoff of Eleanor's truck to a friend who needed to haul metal to a recycling place).  Finished right before 5, getting out some paperwork on a case and grabbing a new book to read minutes before the local library closed; I went with this one, on Michael Crichton's past reputation, when it seemed clear I wasn't going to score a last-minute copy of Hunger Games, which I've finally decided to try after our old church announced it was doing a book series based on it-

- and hey! I actually scored an ebook download of the thing from the liberry:) Except the Overdrive thing isn't behaving, surprise surprise.

Ten minutes to Doctor. Hopefully my tablet will sort itself out by then.

The Hunger Games was excellent. You might want to invest in the books because I guarantee that once you finish book one, you'll want book two nearby or the waiting might drive you crazy. It's a really well-written series. I bought it for my son, but I ended up liking it more than he did.

At the moment, I have nine parts, none of which are downloading to the tablet. I think this is preparation for the battles or something.

And it's the audio book version. Shoot me now.

Assuming you're listening while driving... Does your car have a USB port? If so, you can download directly to a flash drive. That's how hubby listens to Clark Howard.

Oh, I can listen to the thing at the gym, just like I read there, but I read a lot faster than I listen and I've never gotten used to audiobooks. Maybe this one out of necessity.
