Poor Isaac Newton. First the apple on the head, then the Inquisition (oops, wrong scientist), and finally Einstein coming along and debunking most of his theories. Yet one of them has stood the test of time, unchallenged by intelligent science: Newton's posited impossibility of a perpetual-motion machine.
Sorry, Ike, but at 7:25 a.m., that one bit the dust, too. And not disproved by intelligent science, or intelligence of any kind, but rather by 60 pounds of fast-moving but stupid fur.
The dog goes out in the yard. The dog pees in the yard. The dog comes in from the yard. The dog drinks out of the toilet.
QED.
