A note on the occasional mysterious below: I've resumed a semi-regular career of editing manuscripts, both for a friend's publishing house and other Whatever Street Irregular assignments may come along. They're real books. They count. But I won't breach the author's implied confidentiality until the publication actually occurs (as it did, say, with number 11).
