I mean it, really, when I say.... I do not watch bloody much television. Network or cable, all seems to be the essence of that old Springsteen song.
Monday nights are an occasional weakness, though. Eleanor's at work, we've usually finished our Netflixing over the weekend (Four Feathers, an excellent period piece from the director of both Elizabeth films, and Disney's Enchanted just went back) and the new ones won't show until tomorrow, and neither work nor workouts have me falling asleep at 7 this early in the week.
This is when I usually resort to old MASH DVDs or, horrors, the Time Warner program guide. And lo!, Enterprise, which I hardly ever watched, is on Skiffy.
Four seasons, almost a hundred episodes, and which one do I get?
The one with Al, what else?
I could swear I made plans to watch this one when the dear departed UPN aired it, crossover junkie that I am. I made all the "oh boy!" and Ziggy jokes and generally enjoyed myself for an hour.
Then I started watching the next episode, which teases you with a giant piece of snot sucking itself into the airlock, and I remembered why this was the only one of the canon I couldn't bear to sit through week after week.
Archer: Dammit, Ray, tell me something I don't know!
Ray: T'Pol's having an affair with Gushie.

'Vox Sola,' yes...that one was, um, interesting. :P Wait for series 3 Enterprise, though-- that was actually pretty good, especially the back half.
