It was just a matter of time before somebody YouTubed this (and get it quick, because some suit is bound to take it down), but here's our local newsroom's now-famous movie review, which went out over an open mike and onto the air while the Coen brothers were winning the award- on their station.

The off-the-reservation commentary went like this:

[as Coen brothers approach the podium:] Yeah! I don't believe in this Oscar bullshit but it's the best movie of the year.

[Vapid female anchor:] What's it about?

[Vapid male anchor:] A guy with no expression keeps blowing up everything.

I think I'm going to add that to IMDB as one of the movie taglines.

Number one, I hope you are Ray. Number two, I left a whole long message talking about "heraea" and my graduating year (1981) and other tidbits. Then it got eaten up in the blogosphere somewhere! So I'll just try to be anonymous and hope that you get the response this time.
