Thirty-nine years ago this week (1969), the Buffalo Bills selected O.J. Simpson No. 1 overall in the combined NFL-AFL college draft. Said Simpson agent, Chuck Barnes: "We're not talking about anything as long as 10 years. I don't think O.J. wants to play that long. He is interested in going into social work after football."
