Lo! Justifying Disappearing Quiz!

ljdq. This curiosity has now attracted the crowd at metaquotes. Absent any inside information, I'm left to speculate along with the rest of the hoi poloi as to the reason for this delay:
* Hans and Ang cut secret deal to broadcast the Quiz on the NFL Network, resulting in the answers being fully revealed last Thursday night without anyone in America knowing it;
* Withholding of answers is sign of solidarity with the WGA, despite the fact that none of us regular winners ever made a dime off of the Internet distribution of our written work;
* Newly released National Intelligence Estimate states that it is plausible, but unlikely, that there even is such a thing as the LJDQ;
* Tom Cruise obtained a restraining order on account of the Answer entry not being short enough;
* Trading of stock in Quiz (NYSE:LJDQ) suspended after several straight weeks of sub-prime joke answers;
* Mods are waiting for the new owners of LJ to censor the previous week's answers for anti-Putin jokes;
