So. Wonder what it is?
Jul. 25th, 2011 01:09 pmLJ has been down since first thing this morning- least for me, and for any of a dozen friends' pages I've checked.
The offsite status page at http://status.livejournal.org/ offers no clue, other than this:

Google News offers any number of stories in response to a "LiveJournal DDOS" search string. Unfortunately, every single one of them is in Cryllic.
Only other thing I can think of is that an infinite number of monkeys all got home simultaneously from ComiCon and broke the thing by accident.
Somehow, I've gotten a few comments on entries from as late as last night. Yet nobody on either F or + is talking about it.
It will really, monumentally SUCK if I have to pack up and get out of here, but when the entire English-speaking universe can't seem to manage even a collective yawn when this site goes blank for half a day, I begin to wonder how long this patient has got to live.
Heh, and we'll see how that crossposting goes too, huh.
