captainsblogWe loves us our Jim Jarmusch movies. Stranger Than Paradise, Down By Law, the whole bloody lot.
So how, I ask, did Broken Flowers escape our notice barely two years ago, with Bill Murray in a respectable dramatic turn and with a cast of thousands of former lovers including Sharon Stone, Frances "Ruth Fisher" Conroy, Jessica Lange and Tilda Swinton in wholly underrated roles, huh?!?
We bailed out at 8:30 in order to record tonight's Avatar episode for the somewhat impaired child, but the ending is almost anticlimactic. The performances so far have been so touching, we really don't care HOW it ends.
But by this time tomorrow, I promise, we will know.
