Emily's off again today to check apartments for the coming semester. Smaller ones than she and Eleanor looked at the other day, since their proposed third roommate is now out of the picture.

Yes, we are doing this on Friday the 13th.

I've never been much for omens or juju or any of that shite. I've filed two of the most significant bankruptcy cases of my career on April Fool's Day. The official d/b/a certificate for my solo practice was filed on 6/6/06.

I proposed on December 7th. That seems not to have bombed;)

Still not sure what the logistics will be today; Em's got noonish and fiveish appointments set up, and I think she and Mom are planning to just cruise between them as other things come up on craigslist. (She was bitching to me the other day about the horrid grammar on those postings; I replied, What do you expect? Their own name is missing an apostrophe, a space and at least one capital letter.) I have a couple of things to file there, but no work appointments as such, and I could use some catchup time on filing and billing and other officey things. So I may go solo and meet them there, or back here, as needed.
