Secrets (and stupidity) revealed.

So the reason for the recent spamming-like-whoa? A simple plan, trying to get history to improve, rather than repeat, itself.

Today is the third anniversary of this journal. A year ago, I'd planned to coincide my second anniversary, my 1000th post, and my regular return from hiatus- all with a serious profound post- and failed at it quite miserably, instead using it for last year's Tax Challenge.

I'd been watching my entry total tick slowly up the 1300s in March, into the Late Middle Ages by a week or so ago, making me wonder: could I pull it off this time? Coincide a 3rd-anniversary/1500th post/independently important entry all in the same typing?

Answer: no.

This will go down as merely Ten Times Gross, entry number 1440 a mere three years after beginning. (Of course, if you count my Met blog, I passed 1500 weeks ago, but let's not go there.)  In those three-and-1440, I've aged three years, quit one job, buried three animal friends, returned to my faith, reorganized my financial future, had millions of laughs, and become close to more than sixty people on LJ and several off it who I count among my dearest friends whether the word is Capitalized or not and whether I ever meet all or even most of you.

To everyone who has read, commented, written your own thoughts which have warmed my soul: thanks and love are always in order.

I've really enjoyed getting to know you! You have a wicked sense of humor, which I truly value. I've not know you through all of those life changes, but I'm sincerely glad I know you now...even if you can't coordinate your posts and anniversary! :P
