I just got back from the library, where I set out to find the dumbestass, silliest, funniest movie I could lay my hands on.

Hopefully Harold and Kumar will fill the bill.

The need arose because we got word today that one of the pediatricians in Emily's practice has died. He'd been fighting cancer for over a year, but found himself unable to practice for most of the past several months after it reached the point where he could no longer fight it.  I hadn't heard anything about him in awhile, and just had to check their website last week, to get an address for one of those pesky school-year medical forms. They still had his bio up, with all of his accomplishments and efforts caring for children- ours as well as three of his own. It's gone now.

Dr. Shane Ferguson was 37.

This isn't fair:(

I'm sorry to hear about the Dr, that is very young.

H&K is very funny, especially the parts with Doogie Howser. Oh.. and watch the credits, there is a really cute little thing at the end.

If you are ever in the market for such a film in the future, Run Ronnie Run comes with my highest recommendations.

Harold and Kumar is actually a surprisingly smart movie - I love it a lot.

I'm so sorry to hear about the doc. Way way too young.
