Which I left soon after 0530, so I could return the kids' car to them, and didn't return to for close to twelve hours.
In between, I did not close a deal. I dealt with a civil servant who was not civil and barely served.
I heard a story from our receptionist about adopting a kitten years ago who she named Queenie- until she discoveredher, urm, his equipment and promptly renamed him Drag Queenie.
Speaking of kitties, the neighbor's hunter cat was loose just now. Their little kid was trying to rein her in. We hepped. I picked Bandit up and brought her home, with great protests but little in the way of actual clawing/scratching/biting. All hat and no kittle, that one.
Neither of us has to get up at ass o'clock tomorrow. But we probably will.
