Progress of differing kinds.
Nov. 24th, 2012 09:22 pmKids and kitty headed back to Rochester this afternoon.
Gwenny annoyed the crap out of all the animals, who seemed palpably exhausted all afternoon. By yesterday, she had run of the house, and took advantage to make clear to all concerned that every corner and every bird feeder was MINE!
Em and Cameron, meanwhile, skipped out on Thanksgiving dinner; Em left a gawd-awful mess in the kitchen on Friday after I'd already cleaned up the Thursday dishes; they pillaged the entire remains of a sweet potato cheesecake that Eleanor had made for all of us, then teased us with some cherry cheesecake leftovers from where they did spend the holiday which they refrigerated in our kitchen and then removed, in their entirety, back to their apartment.
In short, there is no reason whatsoever to miss them terribly already. So naturally, I do;)

Day One of last-minute NaNoing is done:
As with my prior effort, I'm always amazed at the angles that just appear on their own out of nowhere, which require research and development that I could never have conceived going in. 7200 a day from here out and I'll somehow pull this off:)
