Haven't had a genuine 12-hour workday in a while.
Haven't missed them, either.
In between the actual work appointments, I stiffed a waitress (one of the owners, apparently) on a tip because they were blaring Glenn Beck on the radio during my coffee; bought Emily one-half of a futon (she gets to decide whether to saw it along the X or Y axis if the rest of the money doesn't show up on time); and heard a truly awesome interview with Roseanne Cash, whose memoir is now out in paperback and will be joining my reading list once I get through one (1) pile of Slush and one (1) summary of recent Darwin Award winners.
