An apparent dispute between two Niagara Thruway drivers led to a strange crime late Monday night -- when one driver threw three golf balls at the other vehicle, State Police reported.

Troopers say that Douglas E. Lange, 50, of Nagel Drive, Cheektowaga, later admitted to having thrown the golf balls at a vehicle driven by a Hamburg man. The incident happened at about 10:40 p.m. on the southbound Niagara Thruway in the city of Buffalo.

State Police charged Lange with reckless endangerment and marijuana possession.

You see, kids? The evil weed DOESN'T mellow you out, as the pushers claim.

And just you wait.  They'll give him a plea-bargain and all he'll get is a two-stroke penalty.
