Things wot I larned.
Oct. 9th, 2007 01:00 pm* I've only been using Mozilla of various vintages for about half a decade now, but I just discovered, completely by accident, that hitting the / key (either the one next to the right-shift or the one on the number pad) brings you straight to the "find" feature with a single click, rather than the ctrl-F or mouse-F'ing I've always done. Also, unlike the other way, which leaves the searchbar on the bottom of your screen, the / way closes a few seconds later.
* At the rate the Heroes casting department is going, I'm expecting to see ( not a spoiler but in the same cast as one.... )
* The Bills losing last night was bad enough. I didn't also need Kornheiser going on about how shocked he was that it was 80 degrees in Buffalo when it's already the second week of October. No, other than one-a-century storms like last year's, we're not all skating around on frozen tundra here from Labor Day to Easter.
* I download two different podcasts through iTunes every week now. The Smodcast (Kevin Smith and Scott Moser) runs a little longer than the Wait Wait one, but it consistently takes about three times as long to download. Anyone experiencing this or know why?
* I've got mail. Have a lovely afternoon.
